The perfect option when travelling as light as possible, MSR’s FreeLite 1 Ultralight is their lightest double-wall tent with a weight of well under a kilogram. It pitches quickly and easily thanks to the single pole and hub design, with the inner simply clipping in place rather than needing to be threaded through sleeves. Internal space is excellent thanks to the near-vertical Y pole giving extra head or foot space. The generous vestibule area makes cooking easier and gives plenty of storage space.

Silicone coated Nylon ripstop fabric keeps the rain at bay on the flysheet whilst large mesh sections on the inner provide good ventilation throughout without allowing the midges in.
