The perfect upgrade for the aggressive trail rider, the Mavic XA 35 Pro Carbon MTB Wheelset 2018 presents the perfect balance between rigid speed and compliant flex, thanks to its enhanced laced carbon fibre rim.

Assuring you of responsive power without compromising ride quality and comfort, is the 100% unidirectional carbon fibre rim that proves to offer improved lateral stiffness and vertical compliance so you can power through trails with speed. Optimised for the ever prevalent plus size tyres, the 36mm wide rim profile provides excellent traction control, whilst actively absorbing shock and vibrations from an array of trail terrains, ensuring you of confidence boosting speed whilst shredding through challenging trails.

Aero flat steel spokes increase the integral strength of the wheelset and a two-cross lace pattern provides enough flex to minimise and dampen vibrations absorbed from the trail allowing you to push to your full limit without hindrances.

Providing responsive power transfer and smooth rolling speed, the featured ITS-4 hub effectively excels through flats and climbs, thanks to the four internal pawls that work two by two to present efficient power transmissions.

Equipped with the ability to run a tubeless setup, this incredibly lightweight wheelset has been composed with a UST tubeless ready rim, meaning you can benefit from improved traction control, comfort and puncture resistance that's presented when utilising UST tubeless tyres. Don't worry if you aren't ready for tubeless tyres though, this rim is additionally compatible with clincher tyres.
