Specialized Crux Elite Cyclocross Bike 2019
The Specialized Crux Elite is a fantastically specced cyclocross bike that offers top-level race performance at an incredibly accessible price point - perfect for the aspiring 'cross racer looking to add a new edge to their racing. The centrepiece of this bike is the FACT 11r carbon frame - an incredibly lightweight chassis weighing in at just 900 grams - an incredible 400g reduction over last year's model. The frame has been specifically optimised for bottom bracket stiffness to keep your power transfer clean and efficient.
The frameset itself has been built using Specialized's Rider-First Engineered technology - meaning that every frame size has been designed individually to the exact requirements of its rider. Every frame tube and it's layup, therefore, has been carefully optimised to provide the best combination of power transfer and ride quality possible. The seatpost collar has also been lowered by a full two centimetres to allow the FACT carbon seatpost to flex, for an added degree of riding comfort.
This bike has been specced out with a SRAM Rival groupset and Praxis crankset - a top quality offering that provides superb performance for your money. The minimalist 1x chainring setup is perfect for the cut and thrust of cyclocross racing, with just one shifter to contend with and the lack of a front derailleur helping prevent any build up of mud around the bottom bracket.
The DT Swiss R470 disc wheels are a solid option that offers long-lasting durability and toughness. The tubeless ready Tracer Pro tyres, meanwhile, offer you the choice of pinch-flat protection and a comfier ride should you need it in the future.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
