Specialized Crux Expert Disc Cyclocross Bike 2020
This isn't about bikepacking or a do-it-all big-clearance rig, the Specialized Crux Expert Disc Cyclocross Bike is an out-and-out racing weapon, refined for fast laps and specifically engineered for podium performances. Using the same FACT Rider-First Engineered carbon that's used on the Specialized Tarmac, the frame features size-specific tube shapes and layups for consistent performance and ride feel regardless of size. The frame is stiff and light so for punchy climbs the power transfer will drive instant acceleration, and yet with a slightly dropped seat collar there's new compliance as well that will help take some of the sting out of rough courses.
The large frame triangle and flat bottom top tube make the bike easier to shoulder for when scampering over obstacles and the lower bottom bracket will let you pin it into corners with confidence. Easily taking a 33mm tyre, the frame still retains plenty of extra clearance for shedding mud when conditions are particularly sticky.
A low maintenance 1x SRAM Force hydraulic groupset keeps your gear shifting sweet and the tubeless ready Rovel C 38 disc carbon wheels complete this well-specced build.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
