Specialized have directly built this bike to take the top of the podium when racing cyclocross, with features such as internally routed cabling to reduce any misdemeanours when out on the course and a thru-axle design to enhance strength when riding down steep banks, whilst also increasing steering responsiveness when maneuvering around tight corners when stuck in the pack.

SRAM Force Hydraulic disc brakes offer enhanced braking in the corners, overcoming thick mud and providing unparalleled versatility in wet weather conditions. A SRAM Force drivetrain with X1 setup makes slipped chains a thing of the past due to its great range of gearing and single front chain ring.

The 11-speed drivetrain furthers the Crux Expert X1 Cyclocross Bike 2017’s incredible versatility, reducing any irritating mechanicals by the roadside and as previously noted, stopping the chain slipping off the front derailleur. With reduced changing on the front chainring, the chain and chainrings will last longer, too.
