Specialized Epic Hardtail Comp Mountain Bike 2021
Combining FACT 11m carbon frame with a 100mm RockShox Reba RL fork, the Specialized Epic Hardtail Comp Mountain Bike starts off with an excellent chassis for fast cross-country trail riding or XC racing. The latest generation of the renowned Epic range has all the speed and efficiency that it has long been revered for with sufficient compliance and comfort so that its high pace can be carried on for longer. Rider-First Engineered design means that all frame sizes have the same ride-feel and sharp handling credentials despite the difference in tube lengths, and internal cabling keeps the shifting crisp no matter how muddy or wet the ride is.
Shimano’s 12-speed SLX drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes also manage to combine great performance with reliability and low weight, keeping the competition-based nature of the bike alive whilst still providing great trail and all-day performance. Tubeless-ready wheels and tyres give quick access to running without inner tubes, with the 29” Specialized Fast Trak tyres a firm favourite of riders who value grip and control alongside simple speed.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
