3T Mercurio Ltd Carbon 60 Tubular Wheelset

This wheel is a medium-deep aero race wheel in 3T's flagship Mercurio tubular range.

Deploying the full range of 3T's new-generation technologies, this wheel is characterized by low drag and aerodynamic stability even in turbulent winds and highly-effective, predictable braking in wet, dry and transitional conditions. These characteristics make the wheel especially useful for riders who want to get an edge in close bunch racing where competing riders might prefer a slower traditional wheel.

The innovative, all-carbon-fibre rim is very strong and despite its depth, light. Spoke pockets are molded in to the rim sidewall and receive the non-nipple end of the straight Sapim CX-Ray spokes (18 front, 24 rear). The wheel's inverted-spoke design means nipples add no weight at the perimeter, promoting rapid spin-up. This design has the added convenience of making it possible to effect repairs to damaged spokes without removing the tubular tire.

The hub has a patented spline that accepts Shimano/SRAM and Campagnolo cassettes!
