As the name suggests, the Transition Jacket is the perfect lightweight choice to get you through autumn and early winter in comfort. Weighing a mere 332 grams in size medium, this is Castelli's lightest winter jacket and the heavy fleece lining of their other options has been replaced by a light brushed jersey material, offering excellent moisture-wicking properties.

Although the liner provides little in the way of insulation, the Gore® Windstopper® X-Mid material on the front and sleeves makes for great protection against bitter cold winds and enhances breathability. If you require a little more warmth, you can layer your kit and protect yourself in most conditions.

The stretch properties of this jacket allow for high levels of comfort and full freedom of movement, no matter whether you're on the tops, hoods or drops. A full-length YKK® Vislon® zipper allows you to unzip for added ventilation and makes for easy removal when things start to heat up. Three rear pockets ensure there's plenty of space for all your ride essentials and the reflective detailing will enhance your visibility on grey days and night rides, keeping you seen and safe.
