Versatility is the name of the game for the Santa Cruz Chameleon 7 AL 29" R Mountain Bike, drawing its name from its ability to adapt to its surroundings. Geared or single speed, 29" or 27.5"+ wheels, it can be configured to suit any cyclist by swapping the interchangeable dropouts. Designed to do it-all, this bike is as much at home on the local jumps as it is on a mountain peak, and is essential for any mountain bikers’ collection. The aluminium frameset is built tough for the rigours of modern mountain biking and features playful geometry for a fun, forgiving ride character.
This R model comes equipped with solid, durable components that will stand the test of time. The stiff chassis of the 120mm FOX 34 Rhythm fork stays composed through rough terrain and utilises an open bath style FOX GRIP damper for ultimate sensitivity. An SDG Tellis dropper post adds flow to your rides, and the 29" wheels retain their speed over on-trail obstacles and improve pace on flat sections. SRAM take care of shifting with the robust NX Eagle 12-speed groupset, and their Guide T brakes deliver ample stopping power for technical riding.
