Two decades after creating the endurance road category, Specialized has redefined it again with the Roubaix SL8 Road Bike. Featuring Future Shock 3.0, this bike is lighter, faster and smoother than ever, delivering unmatched confidence and comfort on every road.
Roubaix Compliance
Future Shock 3.0 provides 20 mm of smooth, tunable and stiction free travel between the stem and head tube, keeping hands steady and bars controlled for comfort and speed. The dropped clamp design increases seatpost deflection, balanced by the Pavé seatpost to create AfterShock technology, offering optimal vertical compliance with no loss of efficiency. Together with a rigid rear triangle, the system reduces impacts at the bars and saddle by 53 percent compared with the nearest competition.
Specialized Roubaix Capability
Endurance geometry places the rider in the bike rather than on it, relieving pressure on hands, arms and shoulders while delivering confident handling on descents. With tyre clearance up to 40 mm, the Roubaix is more versatile than ever, offering traction on rough roads and light gravel. Multiple mounts for bottles, top tube accessories and mudguards make it ready for long days and big adventures.
Specialized Performance
At just 950 g, the frame uses FACT 10r carbon and lessons from the Aethos to deliver the lightest and fastest Roubaix yet. New aerodynamic tube shapes and dropped seatstays enhance speed, making the SL8 both the smoothest and most performance-focused endurance road bike Specialized has ever created.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
