these tires sing!!! supple and fast run true to size on my 21mm internal rim width wheels. i bought the 28mm gumwalls and measures 28.24mm italians know all about handmade.

I have been using Veloflex clincher or “open tubular” tyres now for a good dozen years and have never been tempted away. I even have some 25 mm Roubaix tubulars on my old steel Gios. The new Corsas do not disappoint in any way. I’ve managed to get good distance out of these tyres over the years and can’t say I’ve picked up that many punctures either. To me, they provide the most supple ride of all the tyres I have tried. The new tread that replaces the old herringbone pattern is innovative and seems to work well. They look gorgeous with the gum sidewalls and really help to finish the bike off in this regard. They are not stupid money either. The tyres come flat and not pre-shaped which may add to the flexibility of the carcass but doesn’t make them easy to mount. On Campagnolo Bora WTO 45’s the challenge was not inconsiderable but I managed to get one on without tyre levers and the other just needed a little helping hand at the end. Overall, these are a terrific set of tyres and definitely worth a go if you have not considered Veloflex before.
