Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM Bundle GPS Cycling Computer
Pairing the fantastic performance measurement of the ELEMNT with a large colour screen and advanced navigational abilities, the ELEMNT ROAM Bundle GPS Cycling Computer also includes the TICKR heart rate strap, RPM Speed and RPM Cadence units for a complete package that can monitor a time trial performance and navigate a gravel ride with equal aplomb. The included out-front mount and ROAM together form a more aerodynamic package than other GPS devices.
Set up and upgrades are done via the smartphone companion app for simplicity, and this also allows text and call notifications, route setting and location sharing. Route mapping is equally straightforward with the included maps, and off-road routes can be mapped using many online applications including Singletracks, MTB Project and Strava as well as every file type including GPX files, with the high-resolution screen providing a crystal clear view of the turn-by-turn instructions. ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity allow many devices to be paired to the unit, including smart trainers so that real routes can be used for training and electronic drivetrains for gear and battery information.
The ROAM is also great from a safety point of view and can be paired with am ANT+ rearview radar for warnings about approaching traffic and with Specialized's ANGI crash detection system.
