To start with, Kryptonite have improved the cut resistance of the flexible braided steel cable. Added to this, the cylinder is now better protected against picking as well as being drill resistant.
The lock is then also protected against other kinds of damage by its durable vinyl coating which makes it weatherproof when combined with the dual sliding cylinder weather guards that automatically close.
Despite these improvements, the lock is maintains the fantastic ease of use of a cable thanks to its flexibility as well as the 360 degree rotatable head. Handily, Kryptonite include the FlexFrame C Bracket which allows for easy transportation, and to ensure you are never without it.
