The ENVE 25mm SES 2.2 Rear Tubular Rim redefines the capabilities of a low profile climbing rim. Constructed entirely from carbon fibre, weight is kept to a minimum; tipping the scales at an impressive 281 grams the 2.2 offers unrivalled climbing efficiency without compromising stiffness.

Designed alongside the Mercedes GP-Petronas team, the aerodynamic rim profile has been wind tunnel tested to offer the perfect balance between crosswind stability and straight-line speed. This intuitive design ensures the SES 2.2 is as capable descending as it is climbing, for the ultimate in alpine performance. It is, therefore, no surprise that this is the rim of choice for Team Dimension Data Qhubeka when tackling mountainous stages.

The brake track has been redesigned to suit alpine riding, offering the stopping power required to confidently tackle steep descents in wet weather. This performance is achieved through ENVE's new moulded brake track texture technology, whereby the brake track has an abrasive surface that offers a 30% improvement in braking performance over its predecessor. The 18.5mm internal rim width pairs perfectly with 25mm tyres to provide the perfect balance between low rolling efficiency and high levels of grip and comfort out on the road.

Thanks to its aerodynamic profile and updated braking technology, the SES 2.2 is truly a high end, versatile offering, tailored to suit four season riding, across multiple gradients and terrain.
