The Giro Atmos has been used by some of the world's top athletes to numerous victories and is now more affordable than ever before. The Giro Atmos II Helmet 2016 uses 26 vents to good effect, keeping the rider cool, comfortable and performing at their best.

The Atmos II uses Giro's In-Mould construction process, where the impact absorbing EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam liner is fused to the protective polycarbonate shell. The result of this method is a structure which is both lighter and stronger. Thermoformed SL and Roll Cage™ Reinforcement that further strengthens the helmet and ensures the highest level of protection in the event of a crash.

Giro have over 20 years of helmet development under their belts and the Atmos II utilises this experience through the Roc Loc 5 retention system, a design that has been constantly improved upon and allows for supremely easy, on-the-go adjustments via a micro adjustment tension dial. Roc Loc 5 also allows for fore/aft adjustment meaning that no matter what your head size or shape you'll be able to place the retention system in the recommended location - just below your occipital bone.

All day riding comfort is further improved by the Wind Tunnel ventilation system that sucks in cool air through 26 vents. The cool air is then transported through the helmet and over your head by way of internal channels which then expel the warmed air out of the rear of the helmet.

Featherweight webbing keeps the weight of the helmet down to 270 grams in its medium size. This system has been paired with a Slimline™ buckle that is easy to adjust and provides a secure closure.
