Challenge Superlight Cross Latex Inner Tube 29-38mm
Puncture resistant and lightweight, the Challenge Superlight Cross Latex Inner Tube 29-38mm is ideal to use with high-end cyclocross, gravel or touring bikes. Due to its latex construction, this inner tube is lighter and more flexible than regular butyl tubes and can maintain these enhancements with a thinner tube.
Please note, caution is needed when considering the use of latex tubes with carbon clincher wheels. Carbon rims do not dissipate heat as well as aluminium and prolonged braking, such as on long descents, and so may lead to hot spots along the braking surface. This increased heat can damage the latex material leading to a failure. Before combining a latex tube with a carbon clincher rim, consider your riding conditions and your riding experience. With proper braking, skilled riding and proper installation, latex tubes will be extremely strong and reliable.
